A pair of massive oak cupboards extremely fine carved, the front of the cupboards decorated with classical pillars with Ionian tops and Doric bases. The base of the cupboards embellished with classical lion masks. The front decorated with birds, foliage and cherub heads. The pair of cupboards are made Northern Holland possibly Amsterdam, circa 1650. Dimensions: 212 cm x 161 cm x 66 cm. Still in original condition and with a fantastic patina. Latest owned by a German noble man from Berlin. |
