MG 5268: RUSSIAN PANTOKRATOR ICON
EMBELLISHED WITH A SILVER NIMBUS AND ZATA

This early 18th century Pantokrator Icon is painted
on a solid linden panel with a double polje
and dates back from the early 18th century.
Christ blesses the Spectator and gazes away,in a meditative look.
He holds the Gospel Book open.
Icon with strong highlights in the face.
Dimensions: 26,5 x 31 cm.
